Sometimes we often forget about the fun and exciting things that are in our own backyard. So for National Travel and Tourism Week 2022 we are going to kick off with an article that let's us travel, explore and do, right at home.

Parks and Recreation

Since you live in Warrick, I'm sure you love nature simply because, we have so much of it to enjoy! So the first thing on our agenda is to visit a local park,

and let me tell you...we have options! From camping, to hiking, to biking, sports, ATV's, fishing, playgrounds etc., we have every type of park throughout the county that everyone will be able to find some activity that they enjoy. And what's even better than that...? We have more parks coming! Newburgh in particular, is in the process of reconstructing some of there parks and adding more in the community.

Trails to Walk and Hike

Another way to enjoy nature is to put your tennis shoes on and take a walk or go for a hike. Among the various parks and community,

there are countless miles of trails to enjoy. Our Warrick Trails organization is working fervently on adding more, making them safer and

cleaner for our area so continue to check back as more trails continue to open almost weekly.

Attractions

When you're on vacation you always want to go and do something, right? So, while you're touring your hometown, take the time to go

visit a local attraction and make a donation to support your community and their cause. Most attractions throughout Warrick County are free

of charge to attend and run solely off donors and donations. Grab your extra pocket change this week and check out the top attractions below!
